Is Wittering her new home?

Postby PhantomAviator » Sun Feb 20, 2011 5:19 pm

So it would seem that the rumour is that she will be moving to a new home at Wittering.

Could this be true?
Personnel at Wittering seem to think so.

Wonder when the announcement will be?

Check here for rumour control page 266 2/3rds way down the page.

Being in Leicestershire and just down the road from Brunty.

Next only 35 minutes away from Wittering I know someone else who will be happier.
:)

Not to mention a lot of people who are in the club ;)

The trouble with Wittering it's appalling for spotting - there is nowhere outside the wire!! well unless you wish to park on the A1!!

You can improve the odds by stumping up £350,000. :ymdevil:

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Anybody know how this might affect viewing
tours for Vulcan fans?

I'm sure they still miss that revenue stream
from gawkers/souvenir buyers......

I feel sure it will make it all the better for viewing as if it wasn't for Wittering on a lot of the parts she wouldn't have got to first flight.

Anyone know if there's any truth in it?
