Memorial for recon aircrews of the cold war

Postby Ultima1 » Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:18 pm

The National Vigilance Park at Ft. Meade, MD (near NSA) was started to honor the sacrifices of aerial reconnaissance crews.

Crews that lost thier lives and loved ones were never told what happened to them due to classified missions.

Nice that there's a memorial. How awful not being told the details of lost loved ones!!

BTW Ultima - are you suffering from an echo? ;)
