Anyone have any idea when they are due in service?
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

All I could find was:

“The first of the modified JULIUS Chinook helicopters is expected to be available to commanders before the end of 2011,” said David Pitchforth, Managing Director, Boeing UK Rotorcraft Support. “The entire Mk2 fleet will be fitted with the JULIUS cockpit by early 2015, followed by Mk2A and Mk3 modifications by 2015 and 2016, respectively.”

So some time after that I would guess

As others have said, late 2011 is the earliest.

Given that these are current machines getting new cockpits I'd expect this lot to be delivered and not cancelled.

Much of the work is being done at Boscombe Down I gather. I think Fleetlands is involved, too.
I'm English, and as such I crave disappointment
