Vulcan B2 XL386

Postby Last Lightning » Thu Jan 20, 2011 11:52 pm

Hey Ho new member being a bit dim.....sorry :(( :) :((

20 years ago I did a bit of time at what was then RAF Manston with the FSCTE. Anyway among other things just outside the burning area was Vulcan B2 XL386, I managed to get a few shots of her before she was burnt to death, unfortunately I didnt look after the negatives and they have not stood the test of time, all that was rescuable was this single black and white shot, I know its bad but hopefully its worth posting.....btw the wing in pic is an Argosy

Thanks for sharing. It's a shame the old girl is no more.

A well known Lightning man, always says "You can't save em' all"

Sad, but true :(

It's nice that this pic survives though :)
