Ark Royal

Postby XR219 » Sun Jan 16, 2011 1:52 am

I know it's not a military aircraft but I guess this goes here?

The Ark will be open to the public at Portsmouth Naval Base between midday and 4pm on Saturday, January 22 and 10am and 3pm on Sunday, January 23.

There will be access to the hangar, flight deck and operations room. Entry to the ship will be through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard's main entrance at Victory Gate.

Entry is free.

I thought this might be of interest to those who live nearby.
I'm English, and as such I crave disappointment

I might try and get there, although Dad is working on his Military aircraft markings book then.
Fly fast jets and/or C130s over my house please, I'm bored!

We are going.
Only problem is that they will expect long queues and it might be crowded.
So we'll arrive an hour early :D \M/
