Hi all,

I am trying to find out what livery the Dakota would have worn for the RAF between April '46 - Jan '48. My grandfather flew them then and I want to paint my airfix model as it would have been when he flew it.

Any ideas?

He flew the following airframes during that period:

FZ 644 - Ĝ
FZ 697 - G
KG 360 - Ḇ
KG 442 - Ĥ
KG 601 - L
KG 643 - Q

I suspect Dakotas of that period would have worn this scheme.

TSR-2 simply got the first 3 right. ”
