I'm so glad I saw so many 'Varks at UH and LN. ;)

The Vietcong called these 'Woosh' as that is all they ever heard. Followed, a few seconds later, by a series of explosions!!

Not sure if anyone has posted this before but I find it amusing!

I'm English, and as such I crave disappointment

Nellis 1959. The First World Congress of Flight, but only the Yanks took part. So a bit like the Baseball World series. ;)

Was this the best airshow ever? Live weapons firing included.... ;)

Watching this makes you realise just how long the C-130 and the B-52 have been around. Still in front line service over 50 years later. :ymapplause:

Somewhere out in the ether is a film made by the USAF called "WEAPONS EFFECTS" it used to be shown to ALL the trainee Armourers and dates from the seventies. I will try to find it again!

Thanks to JJ43 on the VTTS club forum I have just spent a very nostalgic couple of hours watching Concorde vids. Especially the Last Flight series from the Discovery channel.

There is no footage of Dave Stock's crash BTW [-x

A lightning tribute with voice overs from Brian Carroll and Tony Hulls at one point and some great a2a footage from Thunder City.. From a Brick by the look of it.

Watching vids like this makes you appreciate the LPG guys at Brunty even more.

BTW I don't know who Joluqa is but he has posted some crackers. I wonder if he is from Malta (RAF Luqa - geddit?)

Ian

EDIT Also found this from the ubiquitous JOLUQA :D Brilliant. 'Always on the Elert', perhaps English is not his first language

Enjoy. I did... ;)
