What Hula-Hoop said , no flying today [well except for 2 flypasts from a pair of Wittering based T10's when we were at the cars] :(
Always tomorrow I suppose ;)

Went To Cottesmore, met Cluny, Gaz, Helen and Sooty and the runway refused to let go of it's ice! BUGGER!

So then I phoned 1(F) Sqns Ops room only to be told that all flying was scrubbed, Gaz and I made a dash to Wittering and in to 4 (R) Sqn Ops room to be told that they were up doing their formation fly about and would be back in around 15:00Hrs

Pictures to follow in another thread!

Mum says thanks to the "big strapping lads" (her words :p =)) ) for pushing her out :D :))

Man on the scanner said that Wittering was closed, but I did say I wasn't sure if he meant closed to other traffic or to everyone, so sorry if anyone heard and decided not to go.

I had a lovely walk over a couple of snowy fields =))
Must do it again some time :))

So glad I changed my mind about getting a series of trains and buses just to come today! What a shame.
