Yeah but there was no "run" because of the snow. That happened last year too.... guess who was there =))

Well, my daughter and I were about 20 yards from the business end, and I am just getting some hearing back. Luckily, my daughter put her fingers in her ears and is OK, but i was holding the camera and I am just starting to get some frequencies back. Andy asked if I would sue LPG, and the answer is

nah. Noisier the better. :D :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Well today was like all my birthdays had come at once.

I must say a huge THANK YOU to everyone involved with the LPG today, especially Andy.
No sooner had I introduced myself to him, blamed him for me making the journey upto Brunty and shook his hand. He'd invited me to sit in the cockpit of 904 while they pushed it back into the hanger, then I was given the pain staking task of releasing the brake pressure ;) , then he showed me the cockpit some more :D :D :D :D :D :D

Once I've stopped grinning and sorting out my Video/Pics I'll post some up :D

P.s.

Dave can you send me some pics please. You know which ones ;)

I loved the Buccaneer run as well as the Lightning run, it was the first time i'd ever seen one with its engines on :)

Andy has asked me to pass on his and all the LPG's thanks to all the iconic folk who braved the elephants. They made a fair amount of cash on the day (As did we! Cheers all :) ) and will be putting it towards a barrel of ale

Did anyone notice a less-spotted Checksfield (or 2) yesterday? In all the threads, cannot find any reference to them - wondered if they made it through the weather :(
