Cracking photo's, great to see a Lightning in the air. I might even have to break my rule of posting a comment over there ;)

Time for a whip around! :p

I know the Lightnings would never be permitted to fly in this country but would the Bucc? I read somewhere that a Bucc had been issued a permit but is yet to fly?

There is one Buccaneer that requires a LOT more work upon it and that will ONLY be carried out IF and WHEN someone NEEDS a Buccaneer Airframe for a PAYING Job!

isnt XX897 airworthy, it used to do fast taxis at bournemouth because Quicksilver wanted the speys, even if the CAA dosent allow it im sure it could fly.
wasnt there talk one year (2008 i believe) of it going to RIAT without the Foxhunter radar nose?
Fly fast jets and/or C130s over my house please, I'm bored!

Oli, being AIRWORTHY (able to fly) and having a PERMIT to FLY (allowed to fly) are very far apart! ;)
