Coningsby Tomorrow (4th November)

If the link doesn't work -

If anyone can get to Coningsby mid morning tomorrow, there's a 4 ship farewell flypast (wind/weather depending) from the 3 41sqn Harriers and a Tornado :(( :((
Sadly I can't get :(( :((

But I did see a fantastic very low fast break to land this evening :D by one of the Harriers, plus two hovers :D \:D/ :ymapplause: .

Very sad to see them go :( :((

Slightly off topic - now there's a thing!!

XP, there is a lot of half truths & innuendoes about :p but I hear rumours that the Harriers could go to Wittering instead of Cottesmore! as one with his ear to the ground have you any ferrets handy?

Nothing heard here, I would think that if they can fly they can get in to Cottesmore!

If I pick anything up I will of course let you know!

Realised at the last minute I couldn't get to Coningsby because of road works so shot over to Waddington instead!!

Bless 41Sqn they did a circuit so we got 2 passes...

I was actually hoping for details of where it was from, i.e. which Squadron but realised from Madams answer that was unlikely, so played along! :D

Glad to see you're watching though Eric! :-o

Guess I will end up phoning 41 sqn to ask for a copy of the photo!! ;)

Yeah a Jack of all Trades sqn.

I see there was a ceremony in Stamford today for the forces march that had a single harrier flypast - shame they couldn't have timed the 3 ship for it..

A friend of mine flew with 100 for several years, he had a wonderful time! He used to fly photoship into RIAT!

I dont know Helen - I got word that nothing was happening - then at 10.20 they were doing a flypast at Waddington at 11.05 so I scooted off - I wouldn't have time to find out the road was closed & go the long way round so opted for Waddo. and guest what...........

the level crossing closed as I approached it - there were road works and the light turn red as I approached it, a white van man was bimbling down the country lane hogging the middle of the road, a tractor pulled out in front of me on the A15 so a 20 min trip took 35 mins ~x(

Think I resembled Mr Toad =)) =)) =)) beep beep - get out my way NOW!!! =)) =)) =))
