I'm going to the Blitz Night at Bletchley Park this year, getting fed up of the chavs and huge crowds for the big one in Milton Keynes as it's free, would sooner pay the £3 to help the Park and listen to the wartime music. I will definately be taking my camera too.

Do bears you know what in the wood :p :)) :))

I am bringing my best friend and her 5 year old daughter \:D/ \:D/
Cannot wait, we don't get to see each other very often so we're making a day of it :D

Lunch at the Pride of Lincoln.

At EK for the 3pm taxi.
Show Sam and Ellie round the museum, watch the night taxi, see the fire works (agree, they were really good last year, and the year before in the rain =))) then McDonalds for supper ;) :))
Although my plans to go to the Sleaford one have been scuppered if the road is still closed at Billinghay ~x( [-x ~x( X(

So excited :D :D \:D/ \:D/

I hope they get the little *insert rude word here* X( X(

Glad you've got some of it back \:D/ hope the rest is put back realy soon :D :ymapplause:

And see you Saturday :D \:D/ \:D/
That's if I can prise my friend away from this

"The Mother of All Sundaes £7.29
Chocolate fudge cake, baked cheesecake, chocolate filled profiteroles, mini choc chip cookies, three scoops of vanilla and three scoops of chocolate flavoured ice creams, topped with chocolate and toffee flavour sauces, cream, wafers and Cadbury Flakes."

I'm hoping to make it in time for the 3pm taxi. We have a not quite 5 year old little girl with us, so I thought it very unfair to make her hang around there all day, she'd be alseep by the time the fire works happen :))
So I'm leaving it as late as possible.

Why bother to make it. You can buy it ready-made for £7.29? :)) :))

I suspect you may have been partaking of it tonight Helen!!

What sort of pub are you looking for? If it's for something to eat try the Red Lion at Dunston...although you don't normally go that way do you?

It has to be child fiendly and not be too expenive.

There's a couple I have in mind.
There's one just outside Langworth that's meant to be good but can't remember the name :))
And there's a Red Lion at Revesby.
Dunston's not too bad as we go that way (sort of) when we do Waddington to Coningsby :)) It's certainly had good reviews.

It's a shame the Get Stuffed closed at Tattershall Thorpe =)) =))

::Edit::

Well that rules out the one at Langworth, I'm not paying £9.95 for a burger, even if it is made from Lincoln red beef :p :))

I didn't know the Get Stuffed had closed :-o

When you say child friendly I have seen kiddies in the Red Lion but not often but then again we go week day lunch times. Typically fish & chips & and an egg & cheese burger & chips plus 2 drink £18.00
