Did my judging bit over the weekend to help whittle down the choices for voting. Some great pictures, but a shame not to see any entries from the 2008 & 2009 photobook stalwarts - Tom 'TJ' Hill, 350Wedge (Tony Gardner) and Peter Starling.

In the non-'558 aviation category there are some stunners. I had a real problem choosing my favourite picture as I was being swayed by the aircraft and had to keep reminding myself it was about the quality of the image! But that F4 Phantom photo is gorgeous... Think this category is being won easily by the Spitfire formation photo - great picture, but I personally hate stationary props! ;)

Thanks for all the comments. I had great fun last Sunday collating all the judges' returns. With the quality of the entries they had a really difficult job to pick out their favourites.

Voting closes at 8pm so if you haven't had a vote yet do so soon! Then it's the vote off for the best overall which will finish at 8pm on Sunday.

It would be nice if some of the entries could make their way into a yearbook to raise funds as well. Fingers crossed!
