Saturday 18th September; BBC4: 2000 to 2100 'Spitfire Women. The Story of WW2'. (Part of the BBC's 'Battle of Britain' Season). This tells the story of the 168 women in the 'Air Transport Auxiliary' (ATA) who flew the Spitfires from the factories to the Aerodromes during World War Two.

I thought there was a reason why I liked Ewan McGregor as an actor, check out this for a smile!

I'm really surprised 'Battle of Britain' hasn't been shown recently. Unless anyone knows different. I'm sure that deserves a showing more than Top Gun or Memphis Bell at this time of year, although both are good films.
