Oh to enjoy the Wrath! Where's she wintering?

Postby PhantomAviator » Sat Sep 11, 2010 3:49 pm

As of Shakespeares, Henry V, Act III.

I announce.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;

I now await the suffering of the Wrath of many for asking the simplistic question of.

Where shall she be berthed this winter?

Any clues or will she be awaiting the kindest gesture of the RAF again?

That would be great if it were to be.
Central of the country , access from the North and the South, East and the West.
(Sorry had to list them all because knowing some they would want to know why the East and West had been left out.

I knew 'd miss someone =))

West Country included [-x
Then of course there is the Ridings, North, South, East and West.
Some obscure place called the Hebrides, Outer and Inner.
Oh the Scilly Isles, (Do they have Internet down there)? But just in case I have included them.
Can anyone name any others I have missed, not forgetting Scappa Flow, then there's that Welsh one? O:-)
Now what's that called? Ah, Yes Wales! Oh I am so :ymblushing: for forgetting their name.
My mention Scotland, now they would get upset if they were forgotten, (how could I forget that detatchment I had to Machrihanish, the long bus ride).
Please feel free to add any others.

And while we're getting picky, there were only ever three ridings, cos that's what it means. South Riding is totally fictional.

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Glad you picked that up. "Riding" means a third part. Admin arrangement of Viking origin. South Yorkshire, as an entity only exists inthe minds of bureaucrats.

Isn't it nice that pedantry still sticks its head above the wall every now and then? :D

With regards to the Ridings, yes I did know that there was only the 3 but I have to keep this thread going somehow.
Until the answer of where she will be over the winter is answered.
