XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Oli, if you have never seen a BUCCANEER flying you are either a very mature youngster or incredibly unlucky in not being in the right place!

The Buccaneer went out of RAF service in March 1994 with the disbandment of 208 Sqn!

So are you a true whippersnapper?

You can if you are the connected to the government (then they don't stop there do they) X(

It is nice to remember the days of Buccaneer's, Lightning's, Jaguar's etc displaying.
Not to mention several Vulcan's ALL at the same time :D

Nice pics Oli, thanks for sharing mate.

No still waiting for someone with money to need the old truck to fly, wont happen until there is a profit in it!

Unfortunately, the Bucc will only fly (even though it's airworthy etc) if the RAF/Navy/Army contract it for training, and even then, they have said she wont fly in Airshows....sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Also, they have an airworthy SU-22!!!!

Yes, but as Mr Fat Badger says, they will only fly it if there is the oportunity to contract it out, they have zero plans to put it on the air show circuit.

The only one I know of to be close to flight is XX885, and she lives in the HHA's maintanence hangar at RAF Scampton. No idea what lives at Bournemouth.
