Sods law says as soon as they say thats it canx all flying, the sun will come out!!

according to the number of tweets I'm reading, the weather is clearing from the west with sun breaking through & they have booked the airspace until 6pm instead of the planned 16:30.

I'm still in two minds whether or not I should venture out.........Lambs in the oven on slow cook, gateau is defrosting in the fridge and they should all be ready @ 6pm.................Oh the problems!

A Vulcan stay at Cobham is not part of the plan....

A dash to Brize at first oppertunity is the next option albeit via the scenic route ;)

Hello Olicat :) welcome to IA

If you think about it, the weather has not been kind to airshows this year, Waddington lost half their flying on the Sunday because of high winds. RIAT Sunday morning was claggy was they some dispays too. Lowestoft had 2 wet days with thunderstorms.

My main concern is the sea side shows have enough finance for next year.

thanks for the welcome :)
I hate uk weather sometimes!!
although i did watch some things going out and coming back from bournemouth intl on friday
i found it funny that on the screens (supposed to be showing the displays(of which there were about 4 or 5)) it said "The biggest air spectacular in the uk!" (which it wasnt)

that said, thursdays night air was briliant!

Now I've finished my lovely 6hr slow cooked lamb shoulder and profiteroles :D , got out of my wet clothes, had a glass (or two) of vin rouge and read some forums/comments I'm astonished!

All the moaners are out in force tonight! They'll all be there next year still.

I just hope they have a sense of guilt if all the sponsors tighten their purse strings for next years event!

I can't wait until next year...THE WEATHER WILL BE BETTER!
