The only pic of a spitfire all day & it turns up with its ghost in tow!
Image
[/quote]

A professional photographer friend tells me this can not happen with a digi camera but often does It's double exposure from either low shutter or camera shake he pointed to the position of the prop on both the top actual and bottom ghost aircraft. He's something like DT when he gets going basically and to cut a long one short it's 2 adjoining frames on a film superimposed .No I am not going to ask him why it happens on a digi camera .But something about fast finger clicking twice rapidly seems to be the answer he was giving me.

Personally as it is the 70th anniversary year I prefer the mysterious ghost one .

edit because spill chucker didn't register som

No, I've been sat infront of the echo website for the last hour just refreshing the page (sad, I know) I was hoping to venture down at 3pm to see the big boys play, but I'm not hopeful now :((

I've had my eye on that one too. The blades went right over my place, but never appeared on the camera. At that point I knew today was doomed X(

Edit: The Black Cats have just flown right over the house en route for the beach.......Fingers crossed.......for everything being back on for the rest of the day :YMPRAY:

Probably on a recce of cloudbase during display.

If it continues to brighten up more stuff may get airborne

This is where the schedule goes out the window. :(

Black Cats weren't due till the 3- 4.30 slot. Dunno if they are going to maybe try a fast jet next (Hawk maybe) ... webcam shows slight improvement.

On the webcam it looks far to claggy for displaying, imagine flying a 200kts in that, you can't define the horizon either always bad ... :(

The lastest is there is no flying until further notice, next update due now........
XH558 Tweeted @ 3pm: Aircraft serviced and ready to go. To go as far as the hangar door probably.

BmthAirFest tweet:

UPDATE: Weather is changable but due to improve. Potential flying until 6pm. A decision will be made on the Red Arrows by 4pm. Thank you
