Like the completed model, very nice work, look forward to seeing the two news ones when they are finished.

I will get around to posting a couple of the Jet Provost, but I am trying to have a rest after this week as it has been manic at work and I cannot concentrate on the small details, also I need a trip to Cranwell to get some close ups of the gate guardian and if possible take a couple of measurements as the model does not appear correct.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Image

Here's my terrible contribution :ymblushing:

This has kept me busy (pulling my hair out) for the past week.

It's an absolute pig of a model and nothing lined up correctly. Took a LOT of cement and wrapping it up in string and masking tape in an attempt to make it stay together!!

The decals were also split into individual pieces, the USAF badges consisted of 2 pieces and the lettering 4 pieces, trying to line water slide decals up like that was a nightmare!!

I will continue to look for a good Sabre model but this one is for serious pro's with a huge amount of patience and skill. I photoshopped the wine glass out and blurred the chunky cement lines :))

I have perseverance, it's finished.... sort of... well OK the wheels were a problem as I snapped all the suspension legs in half :D

I just don't have much patience for things that aren't easy :p

Nope, it's on top of the telly on a camoflague painted cardboard box... I was bored and had loads of green paint left over after I had painted the pilot.

I think next time I will ditch the humbrol and get some spray paint. Which means every model I am buying from now on needs to be flat grey with decals :p

I've got that very stand holding up my A380. Difficult to find a stand sturdy enough to hold it but one that was made for two works quite well
NB; Any negative comments I post about the Vulcan are posted SOLELY to wind Gregg up!

Stops the white of the decals yellowing with age due to UV exposure .
