Dakota Wrecked in Motorway Crash

Postby Thumper » Fri Aug 13, 2010 1:38 pm

Look away Helen!!

Koen L on UKAR wrote:The Dakota was being moved from the 'Bevrijdende Vleugels Museum' in Best (near Eindhoven) to the former Navy airbase at Valkenburg to take part in a musical version of the movie 'Soldier of Orange'. The transport company didn't do a very good job meassuring the Dakota and the obstacles along the route so it got stuck at a viaduct... They then decided to cut off the entire wing area, damaging it even more.
The musical production company didn't seem very worried at all. They reckoned it would be able to get repaired or otherwise they would just get another elsewhere

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Don't be silly, TNT have a special overnight freight service for "large parcels", it be fine like that, just put extra bubble wrap over the pointy bits.
