skegness lightning and coningsby

Postby Yorkie » Sun Aug 08, 2010 10:26 pm

So I took the kids to skegness for a week, went exploring a little (maily trying to explain to the wife how big butlins used to be, went to skegness airstrip (old butlins airport i think) and spotted this, it made my day.

then there was this noisy little thing that kept buzzing us all day

oh and after getting fed up with the typhoon flying over ALL day and night without as much as a single shot on the camera, i dragged the wife to coningsby

we then drove round to the BBMF hanger, but the little one fell asleep in the car ~x(

Sorry it's XS456 ;) not often we can catch MF out (must need your specs checking lol) (now i'll run and hide)

It was at a golf course in Skegness last time i saw it. bit of a shock to see it on a caravan site, and it looks like they are putting her back together. they have only had her a few months and she seems pretty intact, it must have taken some work so far.

will keep going back, perhaps when someones there and see if i can get a closer look. we go up there quite often.

Ok I don't get on here much anymore. Firstly I appologise to you for not linking the photo back, I did say who's picture it was and that it was taken from another site. It was only cropped to shrink it down, and enhance the picture.

I have since put some of my own pictures up, the first set was taken with a blackberry and came out bad (hence the need for me to find another one). A quick PM would have sorted this out, but it's done now.

I'll stick some pictures up in the next week, as I'm going back up on Thursday (If I can get anywhere near it)
