People complaining about their hearing. The Raf are more than welcome to come practise low flying over my house if no one else wants it, though there aren't many valleys around my way :p

I wonder how many of these nimbies regularly fly out of the country and do they ever give a thought to those that have aircraft noise constantly, anyway I would gladly exchange houses if they want !

HAHA stop low flying NOT .Smacks of the very reverend Retired minister that moved to St Andrews from Orkney & imediatly started a campaign to close Leuchars As he didn't like the noise or the fast jets flying about a mile south of his house .TO noisy he claimed .That soon got shot down Funny he now lives in Balmullo Right under the glide path from and take off to the west =)) (please give him the full throttle salute from 558 on take off in September ) :ymdevil: .Give some MP a little bit of power and then they try to change the world .

Truth be known whenever a revolting local paints something similar on a roof top, every pilot will deliberately fly over it just to make a point! Another one was a posted notice warning aircrew not to overfly a NUDIST CAMP, very cleverly the officer posting the warning managed to include the map reference just to make sure everyone knew what to avoid!!!!!!

What really bugs me is that any day these " BIGGLES " could be called upon to lay down their lives to protect these pathetic individuals ,individuals who, probably the most dangerous act they ever partake is to dip a sheep ( or worse ) and lets face it ,Iv'e spent countless days climbing the hills of Snowdonia ( including Cader Idris ) and MOST of the time it's absolutely quiet ( apart from the aforementioned sheep bleating their displeasure at being pleasured ,as it were ) God,what I would give to live in a peaceful valley with only the occasional jet to enrich the experience ! rant over, wind down mood, time to open a bottle or two :))
