I was thinking it had been a while since we last heard anything. Great news on the nose leg. With that fitted, I assume then it is safe to tow it to the hangar. I do remember from the last time I looked around it, there was rather a lot of daylight coming in through the 'break point' in the fuselage for loading in cargo. Is this likely to be fixed when the guppy goes in? or is it a basically too much to repair now, having sat like it for years?
Keep up the hard work.

Gaz wrote:The aim is, Garry, for EVERYTHING to be fixed by the time it comes out. I have a feeling the hinge on the cargo door is damaged beyond repair, but, the powers that be, seem to think they can repair anything

Gaz wrote:It WAS opened for Chris Barrie, a few years ago. That's what caused the damage. I know Andy (320psi) has some photos from the day it arrived

Gaz wrote:We're a bit in limbo at the minute. It is still supposed to be going in the hangar, but, the hangar is still full of building materials.
I SERIOUSLY doubt that it will ever go in and we're going to have lost 3 months of nice weather when we could have got a lot done. It's pointless us painting her though because IF she does go in, they'll be
stripping it all off again.

The collection is open every Sunday, from 10:00. I think it's £4 to get in

Thanks. Will anyone be at the Guppy?

Hope things move along ONE WAY or another for you Gaz
