New member and DVD transmission

Postby Ramjet » Tue Jul 27, 2010 4:28 pm

Hello there, I've just registered and was having a browse around when I noticed that the following DVD was aired in March/April on Sky - SECRET SUPERPOWER AIRCRAFT: Quest for Vertical Take-Off . Can anyone confirm this was actually aired?
The reason I ask is that one of the images contained in the DVD is mine and was used without my permission!
I spent about 18 months at one stage trying to get payment for this illegal usage. The Production company actually removed my Copyright from the image in question. I was finally offered some money for this Copyright theft and then told the Production company had gone bankrupt before payment was made.
I left my chase for remuneration at this point but always vowed to chase the History Channel, as the Parent Company if the programme was ever transmitted again, can anyone confirm this?

Cheers, Roger Whitcomb - http://www.milairpix.com

Found this by the power of google, it's a little known internet search engine ;)

Just watched the Bombers episode of Secret Superpower Aircraft.

Scottish journalist George Kerevan executive produced this (he owns the production company) and appears to have written the script himself which has a few fairly obvious errors a simple Wikipedia search could have prevented (TSR2 with new turbofan engine technology??) and given himself a lot of airtime as a "military historian" alongside Bill Gunston, Richard Hallion and some decent interviewees who all probably deserved a better programme than they got.

Thumbs up for the program idea, execution could have been better. Unfortunately it was produced in 2005 so they couldn't do their research here
