Hmmmm it was my reason for going - everyone I met who saw it on Friday & Saturday said it was a stunning display

.....I didn't get that feeling on Sunday tho' - not sure if the weather curtailed it or I was expecting too much but give me the Typhoon display any day compared to what I saw!

Thursday's arrival of both was nice.
Thursday's take off blew my mind
Thursday's fannying around waiting on the runway in the wet weather, then aborting the show after taking off and it immediately humping it down, was slightly annoying.

Friday's short practice session was pretty cool and in better weather
Friday's planning for it couldn't have been timed worse, he taxied out and then sat there for about 40 minutes whilst other stuff took off, and landed. Fair play to the pilot, he seemed pretty cool about it, but it was frustrating for everybody to be waiting for it to happen for so long with more and more arriving.

Saturday's show was breathtaking
Saturday's commentary was so bad, you had to laugh.

Yes Staurday was a good display of the F22, the arrows commentary form lead was a bite excitable on Saturday also.

I had a brief chat with the Dutch f16 team and asked about the mystery surrounding Looky. They went out and purchased a brand new one after the original was disgracefully abducted! Looks like we missed a trick there guys & gals.

Nice pics Xpl :ymapplause:
