That post from the VTTS was very interesting and before I read it I was going to post just how diverse 3M is as a company - Scotch tape is a very small part of their business! This is the Aerospace Division info.

Hmmmm I wonder if the 'trial product' is a new one - otherwise it's taken sometime to find it!
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson
Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Agree 558's performance seemed more "gentle" than last year (first I've seen of her this year) - it was very graceful though!

She has got to last until 2014 so i think they are being very careful with the aircraft's FI.Too much speed and chucking her around the sky all use's up more than the normal FI.
cc.
I only do it with a long lead.

The reason given last year was the "Show must go on" attempt to fly under or around weather!!!!!!

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Oh I quite agree, my point was about how "THEY" attempted to justify the massive over use of the remaining FI!!!!
