AMERICAN SHOW AT DUXFORD

Has anyone one been before? I know there is limited flying but wondered what else is on offer aside from the museum displays which I know well.

Duly notified by video and pics and pre-warned about the 2 hour queue from last year ~x(

I am there again this year, infact that weekend is going to leave me shattered! American Air Day Duxford on the Friday, back to MK to see 558 at Silverstone display Saturday, back to Shuttleworth for the Proms and then up to Sywell on Sunday for the Bi-Annual Air Show... phew! Stupidly I was also trying to fit in Shoreham Airshow as well... can't these bloomin organisers not clash with each other... not mentioning Bournemouth that weekend too!!! ~x(

I am well prepared though and got all the important stuff sorted first, I bought a spare (larger) video camera battery, some extra tapes, another 8GB memory card for the SLR and another SLR battery. That's all that matters... now to figure out the money I need for petrol and entrances =))

Thumper is a forum name related to motorcycles that I came up with years ago, I don't go around punching people and I don't have big feet... although I do like raw carrots ;)
