I knew this would get me on Saturday and it did. Big time. My Granddad who was in the Army in WWII, and spent a lot of time in France, Belgium and Germany behind enemy lines, passed away last Tuesday and I was kind of dreading this part of the show, but at the same time looking forward to it as I always do, anyway, the commentator did such a good job with the narration :ymapplause: that I just felt such an immense rush of pride and proudness, that I just couldn't help myself and as they were all coming into land, I just cried and cried and had to sit back in my chair for a few minutes to compose myself! :(

Those are some stunning and very evocative images :)

Your emotion is very understandable Snailrfc.

The photos were, however, slightly tainted by this one.......

What happened to the EADS BF109, RED7, did you not get a decent shot of her?

I had the perfect plot for me, set up was firing away all day, just as I panned the 109, i got it in shot ready to fire at my photopoint.................some spanner had got in front and jumped on his step ladders X( . Shot lost. Thought it would have done a bit of a demo/solo though. Got it on Sunday just turned for finals,
