Yeah it's typical isn't it - last year entered by the Green gate & had to walk the length of the flight line - this year entering by the Red gate & guess what -

I've got to walk the length of the flight line :(( :(( :(( =))

See you Sunday at 10 ;)

So which end is the stand?

The westend of the runway from what I understand.

Ok, ask a stupid question time :ymblushing:

Why do all the aircraft have to go to Farnborough for validation? Is it a bit like scrutineering before a rally?

To the best of my knowledge they're 'different' rules for Farnborough because it's a built up area, so all displays need to be validated. I think even Reds had to do their's today.

So yes it is a bit like scrutineering before a rally

Anybody have a sneak preview of Friday arrivals/schedule? Just debating my leaving time tomorrow AM, may leave earlier to not have to queue so far back at East gate, tempted to go West to though, as it's more convenient, but also tempted to spend some time on the main road for arrivals again..... hmm, decisions, decisions...... Leave my spot early AM for the road or elsewhere and won't get back to fenceline again........ hmmmmm What to do, what to do....

Whatever choice you make I hope it'e the right one. One of the problems being on your own at an airshow is if you get a good spot near the front of the crowd line you lose it if you need to go to the loo!!! :(

Love an IA kit!!!

you lot with sticky out bits can have an externally attached one, we girlies are bit more difficult - perhaps those large incontinent pants of Wedgys look attractive after all!!! :))

You just need some of those trousers with the elasticated drawstrings at the bottom... fill them up then release the bottoms at an appropriate point :D

Thanks to Billy Connelly for that one :D
