That's possibly the reason it was so loud - we don't hear much when t'other end is in use!!! :))

Sentinel flew over my garden half an hour ago, quite low.
No biggy I know but first time I have seen one over here
(wonder if it arrived at waddo with it's wheels and equipment intact).

Just had one of the Sentinels buzzing Wittering, long range shot from the back door! Three circuits and she was off.

Battle of Britain flight Lancaster, Hurricane and Spitfire just flew past my house in Southampton, very low just doing a display over Southampton Water. Makes a change from seeing the Commercial stuff going into Southampton and listening to all those merlins is spine tingling, I thought I could hear something out of the ordinary approaching :D :D :D

Makes up for not going to Farnborough \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Edited to add that Hurricane and Spitfire have landed at Southampton Airport while Lanc Has gone off to another display. Hurricane and Spitfire due to leave Southapton airport at 17:45 to go back to Farnborough.

Lots and lots of charter helicopters coming 20ft over my house to land at the Bowl for The Prodigy concert. Can't say they interest me enough to take pictures though!

lots and lots...

unusually not tuccannos (well one or two, but there not exciting any more) NO HAWKS!

Tornado's, Eurofighter and looked like F15's (twin tail) dogfighting over York (RAF Linton way and RAF Rufforth(ex)

They were very noisy especially when they put full thrust on to go away. (and i'm sure i heard at least one boom)

Too busy watching to get camera :( then a whirlybird came over (Merlin) and they left....

Oh and two apache helo's (they are always welcome as they are here often)
