558 & Waddington

Postby Mayfly » Thu Jun 24, 2010 4:14 pm

Waddington have announced on the Air show radio they do not expect 558 to appear & have amended the flying programme to reflect this.

They say there now doubt the paperwork will be completed in time, but if she is ready they will gladly accommodate her.

No surprise there...........

Sounds like a statement to cover their own backs to me after putting it down on the display list. If it's there, it's there. If it isn't, it isn't. That way no-one gets disappointed :)

Better to do that than face the wrath of the disappointed ;)

I hope she makes it but if not we know why.

No Ian they are just being open honest and above board as they promised they would be after the fiasco of last year!!!

It is one of a few statements they have issued.

Let's hope it all works out and she wows the Waddington crowds again!

That's exactly what I said at the trial.
I knew I should have hidden her head instead of keep it over the fire to keep the kids away from it :(

That's what I meant :)

It's a good thing they said it to save people from going to specifically see 558, if she's there treat it as a bonus :D

Latest Dr Bob email update states they are delaying making an announcement about her condition until early next week.

[So if other update timings are anything to go by that will mean Wednesday or Thursday then] :ymdevil:
