Duxford Flying Legends - Who's Going??

Postby 350wedge » Tue Jun 22, 2010 7:29 pm

Right so who here is planning to be at Flying Legends this year??

I'll be there for both days, probably at the Airspace end for the Saturday and possibly the tank museum end on Sunday. Assuming good weather both days that is!!

For anyone thats not familiar with Duxford (highly unlikely!!) I would really recommend standing at the Airspace end to photograph the planes banking in. Its the best spot for catching the sun in a good place. Unfortunately for Duxford the sun is just in the wrong place for standing in the middle of the flightline (unless your XPL standing in a field the other side of the airfield :)) )

So anyways who's up for going ??

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

The flying list has been put up for Flying Legends this afternoon. Not as good as previous years but glad to see some of the aircraft which had been grounded by the CAA are back up and flying (Bearcat and Corsair among them) :D
