They were queuing (spelling???) when I arrived at 08:30. Most were expecting to see the Nimrod ;)

Still laughing, XPL. HE was conspicuous by his absence today

What an excellent day \:D/
Even my mum had a good day (doing her cross word ~x( =)) )

Managed to pick all the bits of my sandwich out of my chair bag =)) and for once I am not sunburnt \:D/ :D

Will look at pics and vid when I've had some pizza and watched the Turkish GP, although I know who won as mum had the radio on when I got back to the car and I overheard the news X( :((

I had a good first day out with my new camera, here are some of my many photos from today

firstly the nimrod & vc 10 which were both on static display on one pan

finally I took this one from the Guppy cockpit:

there was a long queue for the Guppy

Disappering with reheat on both engines in a haze of heat and plenty of noise - I remembered my earplugs this time!

at this point I was on the bank at the end of the runway with Paul (Cluny)-and it was sunny! , Helen and Dickon as well as many others who I didnt know and I forgot to take my hat off (as did Paul) and both disappeared behind at a very fast rate of knots
