I'm sunburnt, that should tell you everything you need to know about Duxford today =)) =))

What a great day :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Shame that Lancaster couldn't go, and the Typhoon, but the sabre/hunter formation more than made up for it.
Pics and vidoe when I've watched the Monaco GP :D :))
So tomorrow evening probably =))

No I'm not! I've been up in an Extra 300 with the master Denny Dobson and I didn't barf once!! (I did when I got out though) :ymblushing:

The Rapide I went up in (I nicknamed it 'Farticus'... the dark green one) was awful. Sounded like the engines were constantly about to die especially when banking, the turns were so sharp the HUGE guy next to me kept squashing me against the window. It was stomach churningly bumpy, like, 747 bad turbulence bumpy. The landing felt like it was coming in nose pointed to the floor and then pulled up at the very last minute and then smacked so hard into the runway my boyfriend at the time shouted out loud "oh my god, I think I've broken my bum bone!!", just as he finished that sentance we hit the runway again... hard... ouch. I never knew what a human heart looked like but when the pilot managed an impressive wing over on landing I found out :YMSICK:

I quite enjoyed the live streaming of Duxford airshow. a very good idea in my opinion. One slight problem.......................there was a bigger aircaft geek in the house who wouldn't let me get a look in

I would have joined in the chat, but I just couldn't keep up with it.
