Bugger, still never gotten round to going, although have meant to for several years! Hope the cancellation rumour is incorrect!

This was not a show that I was not aware of until last year. It looked good (brilliant with a Vulcan) so I was thinking I might have gone this year. :(

God knows why it has been cancelled, it was a huge success with loads of people through the gates. Probably the farmer having a hissy fit over his fields as there were SO many people outside the gates just randomly driving into neighbouring fields to park n view.

They will probably blame it on the Volcanic Ash. Odd there is NO given reason as to why at this time.

Perhaps I'm a bit pessimistic but the way I read it, it sounds final to me.
No mention that is has been cancelled for this year only, but thanking those who have supported it over the years..... :(

I doubt it has anything to do with that, the Farmer is the organiser.

According to a post on UKAR -

The Farmer who organises the event has said it is taking up too much time from his other duties of farming.......it was supposed to be a one off event but he ran it for 5 years and it will be no more.. :(
