VC10s in to BRUNTINGTHORPE 06-04-10

Postby Xplumberlives » Tue Apr 06, 2010 5:06 pm

I went to Bruntingthorpe along with a lot of other people to see the arrival of two of the RAFs remaining VC10 K1s for scrapping, a SAD day.

If CWJ / Bruntingthorpe or any one else want a VC10 then they need to get a bid in to the right people.....

Agree.. landing a perfectly serviceable aircraft knowing that it is it's FINAL landing ever - must gut wrenching for the crew. :(( :((

Gives you some idea of how they felt when they flew 558 into Brunty on 'suppposedly' her last ever flight.
