I have a great pilot lined up for the Mosquito (actually there will likely be 2 or 3 pieces eventually) and also a guy who worked on OBOE (I think that's how you spell it), the blind bombing system.

Also working on a kids book. A teacher here is writing it and it will feature the images and stories I've done so far. That's my first time working on a book so it's interesting.

Dan, I see you're a book editor...

Fabulous picture, AA - well worth all your efforts to my untrained eyes and I trust you're happy with how it's turned out (which is the main priority!).

Having a proper historic context just adds to the scene IMO: makes it so much more than just artistic imaginings.

Thank you for sharing it with us,

Gully

Thank you very much to everyone. Now I'm sending it around to all the pilots for a final review. Some of them are tough critics! I think I've pleased the toughest one now #:-S Hopefully he doesn't find something else in the larger print I've sent :)

It's been really fun talking to them and hearing some of their other stories. It sure must have been quit and experience flying a Typhoon in that kind of combat!

Here's a couple of the pilots helping me out. On the Left is Harry Hardy, the man in the lead Typhoon. On the right is Jim Wallwork, a glider pilot. He has some really interesting stories!! Here's one:

Thanks everyone!! Well, it's finally all signed and printed. Here's the story that goes with it.

Now finally on to a Mosquito!

The Typhoons were so much fun I'll have to do another after that though...
