not blowing sunshine but my son and i had a fantastic time last year at the twin lightnig run day seeing all the CWJ's running and looking round the airframes you guys do a fantastic job of 'painting props' seriously though keep doin what you do without people like you guys giving up your time to keep the old birds lookin good we would loose alot of avaition heritage!

Not too much to report on today. The firbreglass hadn't gone off properly on the radome so that was a no-go. We changed the broken bulbs on the steps, removed the old battery box (Too small) and attached our new battery, it all works

We then greased the hydraulic rams and put them to bed. Until they were needed for the Comet. A load of people turned up to do a sponsored aircraft pull, so, we let them use our steps.

Other than that, we drank a lot of coffee and made small work of a packet of cakes!

We are merely wannabes, afterall

The radome had gone off so we were able to make a start on it. We did a bit of sanding then one of the lads from the bodyshop came over and asked if we wanted him to do it properly.

So, we let him crack on with it:







It's coming on, hopefully next time it'll be ready for paint.
