Really productive day today! First off, it looked like I would be there alone but Gregg and Dickon turned up so I was like "Right, there's three of us, lets get the radome off!"
So we set to it:

It came off without too much persuasion and was in cracking condition inside, no radar, but it had been lovingly removed:

So we covered the hole with plastic and moved the radome inside, ready for repair.
Also, we got the nacelles open!

And again, we were surprised by the condition of the insides:

We think it's the anti-icing gear and it's in perfect condition on both sides. Although the port side nacelle door will need a bit of work, it jams on something inside, but that's a job for another day.
We also did some housekeeping on the new steps. Gave the levers some WD-40 action and explored all of its features.
So, what was going to be a cleaning day, turned out to be one of the best we've had for a while!
