Makes a pleasant change to see the DAILY FAIL printing something worthy of my time!

They were up on Monday practising 'Enid'

It was interesting reading to 2 different view on other fora - those who were surprised the Reds would fly again soon and those, mainly with service back ground, who understand that you put personal feelings aside and get on with the job.

When you fall off the horse you either get straight back on OR never ride again!

How nice it is to see them up again

it is strange that they do not have a reserve for illness etc. they have a spare aircraft but no pilot (I don't however think that there should be nine reds for the rest of this season, unless one flies a black hawk)

They won't use a spare because there are too many individual positions and no one pilot could be expected to jump in and out of varying roles. The only team member who must be flying is Red 1. Display flying is a discipline they don't or at least they only make minor adjustments to a routine, they learn it and stick to it.

When 558 was returning to flight the idea of working up slowly through out the first season was broached, but it was quickly pointed out that is not the safest way to proceed.
