Definitely not a one person job, Forth bridge comes to mind, so a few of us would have to retype our CVs ! She d look great though, and the view from the top of the wings is worth the effort anyway. (did I walk into this one or what !)

love the pics Wot a bunch of shifty yes i said Shifty caracters But nice to see them back in training (as if they would forget) must donate that £5r I promised for the jetwash hairdo Mayfly had ,Just wish it could have been a £10r for a throttle opening blow over. :ymdevil:

Did someone mention painting the Forth bridge .Have they not got that new plastic coating on yet the one that will end the never ending job .

I was lucky and was sheltered by the platform behind me - Sooty took the full blast and I saw his knees buckle!! :))

Look more carefully at the picture, XP

The hand which is successfully keeping the helmet and headset on would have been equally successful in keeping the hair on as well. It's just a shame I didn't learn the technique soon enough. :))

A very nice piece of reporting!

For me, this was the best part::::::::::::

As per the plan she then turns and comes back round, drawing an imaginary figure of eight with her path before braking to a halt and repeating the process for the benefit of another member of the crew. It really is an extraordinary sight to be confronted with in the middle of the Warwickshire countryside, and there is a real sense that I’m watching XM655 come to life, even if just for a few minutes, and how lucky we are to have groups of volunteers to maintain aircraft like this in this condition.
