If you wanted me to change lenses so I could make use of 18mm to get them both in then you would have been playing "guess the dot". That was taken at 300mm.

Thumper wrote:OK, who sent 3 military choppers over Milton Keynes this morning at about 20ft?

I was in the bath at my friends house so didn't see them but by crikey did I HEAR them! My friend said they were quite big and olive green in colour and were about 20ft off the ground.

That was at about 10:30am. At 11am another friend text me who works in North Milton Keynes with the following:

"I bet you want to be here, 3 big green military helicopters hovering about 20ft over my workplace right now, they are so low I could throw stones at them!" :))

Anyone know how I could find out what this was all about?

I have just had a phonecall from MOD Low Flying. They were all Puma's, 2 were from RAF Benson and the 3rd was from RAF Leconfield. They were on a low flying sortie and instructed to fly at 50ft. They are allowed to fly that low over outskirts of a town but not over the centre.

That sorts that one out then! :)
