I.A. HARRIER Farewell Trip to COTTESMORE

Postby Xplumberlives » Wed Oct 20, 2010 10:59 am

Cluny suggested we take a trip to see the Harriers at RAF Cottesmore, the chosen date is Thursday the 9th of December 2010! Viewing at Cottesmore is quite good, whilst at Wittering it is nearly impossible!

I'd love to come but 50 odd miles on a motorcycle in December and then standing outside all day and the ride back as well is asking for hypothermia.

Do you know that far in advance what their flying schedule will be coz I went around this time last year and they were on night flying which didn't start until about 4pm and at that time it's already getting dark!
