IF we knew what it was then surely if people thought 'WOW that's really fantastic' they would stump up some cash now.
The mere possibility of 'something special' don't fire me with enthusiasm to dip into me pocket.

I've loved 558 for years but for me to become really enthusiastic about her again they will need to do something really different next year......
It was lovely to see her her at Waddington but the display was very tame, not surprising really seeing as the aircrew only got her 2 days before but at the end of the day if the public doesn't feel they get value for money & personally I don't think Waddington did, then a slow response to the appeal is hardly surprising..

Gaz wrote:I was speaking with someone from the club recently and he said the biggest problem now is the "Well, I've seen it now" attitude from the majority of people. I'm one of them. The whole reason I gave as much as I did was because I'd never seen a vulcan fly. I have now.
Now I'm saving up to see an SR-71 fly!!
Wish me luck!!

Gully wrote:... I rather liked the display at Waddo this year (I was only there on Sat). Slower and more graceful than in 2009 and the low dirty pass and climb out to compensate for the lack of landing was a nice touch IMO. However, the problem the Trust will always have is that most airshow attendees over the age of 25ish remember the VDF displays
Hope she will fly next year, and take-off and land at the RAF Waddington airshow.
