This is a poor state of affairs.

I read on an other fora that they closed the gates not long after you posted your mate gave up.

perhaps that's why they're not fussed about the vulcan?

16 Spitfires in the air and Duxford had no idea the show would be that popular? /:)

The gates closed at 2pm, most UKAR people seemed to get there at 8:30am, it seems thats the time you have to get to Duxford for ALL events.

Because you live in the middle of nowhere, the only thing people do in Dorset is apparently build large amounts of model ships and then sell their story to the papers making enough money to power their horse and cart for 6 weeks which is enough time to get to Bournemouth Airshow.

You asked for that =)) =)) =))

We would have to be out out front door by half 5 if we were to be there by 8:30am =))
That's wy we didn't bother with the BoB air show. We'll do East Kirkby instead \:D/ :D
Only have to leave at 9am for that :))

Yes, I noticed you on late last night, night owl aren't we ;)

Well just to rub it in once more... I would have to leave at 7:30am to get to Duxford by 9:30am because I ride a motorbike. I can overtake everything, go down fiddly backroads and I never get stuck in a traffic jam, plus I get hard standing at airshows which is always right at the front so I avoid long walks back to where I have parked :p :p :p
