That's down to Bovril - he found the new supplier, designed and produced the artwork and has literally overseen the production. A great effort, and no wonder they are so popular. :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Here's a nice little video taken by our resident 'event' photographer Clive Hanley, with a bit of assistance half way through from Andy 'Sponge' Marson, the '558 Nav, at the recent '558 aircrew refresher training day at Wellesbourne on 15th May. It was a very neat figure of 8 taxy using a lot less of the width of Rwy 05/23 than was available! :ymapplause:

Sponge's video skills are a real treat as he doesn't have a great deal of navigating to do since the installation of Garmin GPS! B-) He would have had the whole nine yards of '655's nav kit at his disposal, but Martin and colleagues managed the entire taxy without getting lost once! :p

Question.

Was asymmetric power used in the manoeuvre?
Was asymmetric braking used too?

Blooming neat though. Camera man knew exactly where to stand to avoid all the jet efflux.

Haven't spoken to the aircrew, but my guess would be that they probably didn't use asymmetric power as it isn't very effective anyway (engines inboard of wheels). If they did, it wasn't very much, or it would have been obvious from the jet efflux.

They were definitely using asymmetric braking - the inboard bogie could be clearly seen alternately dragging and rolling.
