Croughton Guardians

Driving past RAF Croughton yesterday, there were two very smart gate guardians on display. But, not wanting to lose sight of the road ahead for obvious reasons, I didn't get a good enough look at them to identify them. Does anyone know what they are?

Yep , they're a F-100 Super Sabre [silver/grey one on a pole] and a F-105 Thunderchief [South East Asia Camo one on its wheels] . Both were the Gate Guards from nearby Upper Heyford moved over to Croughton after it's closure .
The F-100 is painted as a F-100D of the 20TFW [its actually an ex French Airforce F-100F] whilst they were based at RAF Woodbridge in the late 50's , the F-105 is painted as a 20TFW F-105D [it's actually a mish mash of various versions that were used for Battle Damage Repair training at UH] during the Vietnam war .
