As I understand it the removed engines are write offs ! In these challenging financial times why not auction some interesting parts from them ? It could bring in some welcome revenue. :D

They've sold turbine blades in the past from the engines that were removed from 558 before her restoration.

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
