I'm trying to get some work colleagues there instead :D

It simply asks if any flying displays have been confirmed.

Oh sorry I didn't realise that you couldn't see it if you aren't a member.

Yes XP says it asks if there are any flying displays and states that the website doesn't look to have been updated lately - which I personally would take as there is no new WWW news.

Thanks Pam / Dave....

Wings & Wheels is not an airshow but we should have some interesting aircraft flying into, or over, Wellesbourne during the show.

We'll update our website page after our final planning meeting, but as always we will err on the side of 'under-promising and over-delivering'. ;) ;)

As promised, we have updated the MaPS website with some details of what is on offer at Wings & Wheels 2012 on Sunday 17 June at Wellesbourne airfield.

http://www.xm655.com/events.php

All that for a mere £5 per adult (free for MaPS Members of course).

The cover has been off for over a week actually - firstly to allow access to a BBC documentary team that were filming an interview with Avro Test Pilot Tony Blackman last week for a future 'Great British Aircraft' documentary, and secondly to allow us to carry out painting. That also explains the giraffe up against the fin. In fact I'm delighted to say that the repaint of the entire fin including all the detailed artwork was completed this afternoon by our resident painting specialist, Bryan Hull. It's the first full repaint of the fin for about ten years. We're back again doing more tomorrow......
