603 Woodford

[Mayfly]

does anyone have any up to date info on 603 at Woodford?

I know she is due to be disposed of & in doing so is up for some form of NDT which will ultimately help 558 & the mod to extend her FI.

The last I heard the NDT was to take place early this year but I haven't heard anything for a while...............

i think the whole point of 603 now Mayfly isn't NON destructive testing, but DESTRUCTIVE testing

603's a survivor that's for sure!

We are not scrapping XM603 at the minute, however there is some work that needs to be done which we hope to carry out at the end of May. I will update what will be required at a later date.
